The Korea Tourism Organization's 1330 line is the official contact point for inquiries about travel information and tourist interpretation support. You can use it when it is difficult to find the Korean notation of the name of a tourist attraction or a travel route. However, guidance consultation does not replace reservation confirmation or emergency dispatch. Please check the official guidance for supported languages, operating methods and available channels.
Preparation before inquiry
Write down the departure point, destination, travel date and time, and the conditions of the person traveling with you. Rather than “Where to go in Seoul,” it is helpful to ask more specific questions, such as “I want to leave this place in the afternoon and avoid stairs.” If you have the name or official page of the facility you want to visit, please bring it with you.
Questions to ask
You can ask for public transport routes, official contact details to check if attractions are open, booking pages and language support. If specific food or accessibility requirements are important, explain them first. Even if you receive information through consultation, weather or on-site operations may change, so it is recommended that you reconfirm the necessary information with the operating organization immediately before departure.
Clean up after consultation
Take note of the address, route, and reservation method provided and check your understanding. Inquiring about business availability and completing a reservation are different, so if you need to make a reservation, please proceed separately through the official channel. If an accident or emergency occurs during your trip, ask for help from the relevant emergency agency rather than waiting for tourist advice. When sharing your consultation screen, be careful not to reveal your contact information and reservation information.
